I asked Tyler to take some pictures of me and the boys because I don’t really have any of just us...well as you can tell by these photos that was nearly impossible...well I guess I should say it was 100% impossible! I did not get a single photo of us all looking at the camera and smiling...but I actually ended up loving these photos so much. This is reality, there are no perfect moments, but I guess that’s what makes this part of life so much fun! I am so thankful for these two boys, and yes at times they drive me absolutely up the wall, but that’s just a part of life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. When I’m in the grocery store or at Target or wherever it may be and the boys are acting out and being bad without fail an older lady will be watching us and she’ll see the frustration on my face. She’ll walk over and tell me to cherish these moments because I’ll blink and they will be leaving the house and starting their own families before I know it. It really makes you stop and think that, yes, this moment in time is so difficult but again I don’t want to blink and look back and think all I did was get frustrated and yell at them or put them in timeout or whatever it may be. I want to stop and live in the moment and not think ‘I can’t wait until they’re a little bit older.’ So here’s to all those imperfect moments I will have and those imperfect pictures that I will cherish for the rest of my life!!!
